Gina Huitt

Gina Huitt resides in Johnston County, North Carolina.  

Artistic memberships include :  Fine Arts League of Cary, Clayton Visual Artists, Watercolor Society of North Carolina and National Watercolor Society. 

I am an artist whose work is inspired by natural landscapes and the meaningful connections we share with animals. My focus is on creating representational watercolor paintings that capture the essence of my subjects with precision and care.  

I have studied art throughout my life, balancing my creative pursuits with raising a family and working in the business world. My dedication to artistic development has included a year of private watercolor tutoring, college courses, participation in numerous training events and workshops, and teaching watercolor lessons to others. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge of the medium and inspire others to explore their creativity.  

Committed to artistic growth, I view my practice as an ongoing journey of exploration and refinement. Whether painting a serene landscape or a detailed pet portrait, I seek to create meaningful works that reflect technical skill as well as artistic vision.
