Bill Cerame

William is a US Navy Veteran, who served both as a Nuclear Training Instructor and aboard Nuclear Submarines. HIs speciality field in the Navy was as an Operator of the Nuclear Propulsion Plant with additional duties in Water Chemistry & Radiation Protection. Following his tour in the Navy, William was employed in the Civilian Nuclear Power Industry, retiring as a Lead Scientist in Radiation Protection. Photography has been a side interest since his teenage days, but since retirement he has devoted more time to improving his skills in this art form. He has completed the New York Institiute of Photography, Professional Photographer Course and is an active member of Cary Photographic Artist. His photograph of the Amistad was on display in the Cary Arts Center, two additional photographs Piano Lesson & Christmas Vacation were selected for the Family Exhibition at a Photographer's Place in Raleigh, NC 

Statement

Since retiring a few years ago, I have devoted time to pursuing my interests in Photography. I was asked to photograph a wedding recently which reignited my spark for the art. I really haven't found a niche yet, but I enjoy photographing wildlife, landscapes, sports and portraits.
