Kristen Spencer

Kristen is a painter specializing in oil and acrylic landscapes. Originally from Clinton, PA, she has had creative hobbies throughout her life, which led her to pursue Creative Advertising at the University of Alabama. Now working as an Art Director in Morrisville, NC, she uses her free time to explore her artistic side. She is an avid appreciator of the outdoors, whether it be hiking, backpacking or rock climbing, and uses her travels to help plan the next project on her easel. She sees nature as a constant source of wonder and inspiration, and tries to capture this magic within all of her artwork. 

I'm drawn towards painting scenes from real life that feel magical. My preference is to try to capture nature – I love exploring the outdoors, and constantly find inspiration on hikes or trips that I have taken. I strive to capture the light and color in a way that brings the scene to life as I remember it.
