The Small Treasures Exhibition has become an annual tradition at the Cary Gallery. It is an opportunity to showcase the remarkable artwork being created in the Triangle and across the State of North Carolina.

About Cary Gallery of Artists

The Cary Gallery of Artists is a cooperative operated by local artists. We feature contemporary and traditional fine art and craft, with more than 300 artworks exhibited by 24 artists from around the Triangle. An artist is on duty, so stop by during regular business hours. Displays change monthly, just before our "Final Friday' evening reception, so there is always new work to enjoy when you visit.

Since our founding in 2005, Cary Gallery has offered affordable, high-quality original artwork. Our wide array of pieces includes jewelry, ceramics, paintings, wood, glass, and much more. Many of the artists who call our gallery "home" are well known—teaching, exhibiting, winning awards, and appearing frequently in the press.

A great time to visit is during Cary's Final Friday Art Loop. The last Friday of each month we are open until 8 pm to feature special showings by member artists. Join the fun at these celebrations—we always offer great conversation and goodies, and occasionally live music. Come out and meet the artists, and bring your friends and family!

I'm an NC State graduate who has enjoyed the NC State Craft Center and exploring various Crafts through the years as a means of stress relief from my job. I've been fusing glass for about 20 years.

Statement

I'm a engineer with a strong curious side and need for a creative outlet. I stumbled into glass work and found it appealed to all three. The play of light through the glass inspires my creativity. Understanding how glass behaves leads to the question "what happens if" which leads to interesting results that influence my creative choices.
